About Greg Meahl

After graduating from Bates College, Greg Meahl began his career with Prudential as a financial planner in Boston. In 1997 he was named Prudential’s youngest General Agent running all operations in Washington D.C., Maryland and Northern Virginia. In 2000, Greg joined the Allstate Corporation assuming responsibility of all financial services operations for the Northeast Region with over 1,400 registered representatives. Under Greg’s leadership, the Northeast Region won multiple Master’s trophies finishing as the top region countrywide.

In 2010 Greg Meahl joined Baystate Financial as a Managing Director. Fortunate to work with great teams over his career, Greg was the recipient of the 2018 General Agents and Managers Association’s Brian H. Early Award and was named Managing Director of the year. Greg’s philosophy is that any team success is a much greater reward than an individual accomplishment. In 2019 Greg was named Partner at Baystate Financial and his current responsibilities include management development, recruiting and training.

Greg Meahl is the past President of the Greater Beverly YMCA and has served on the board for ten years. During this time, he oversaw a six million dollar renovation and expansion of the campus and creation of the annual charity golf tournament. Serving over 13,000 members and constituents, the Beverly YMCA continues to be a leader and innovator in the community.

Greg and his wife Maggie enjoy playing golf and have three grown children.
